“Love is blind”
is what she said.
Before she laid,
to rest her head.
~
She doesn’t understand,
why they can’t see,
that there’s no real love
It just can’t be.
~
For love is a feeling,
it can’t be real.
For if it was,
then I would feel.
~
But soon she found out,
she’d pay a price,
for giving many people,
this awful advice.
~
Now the world is stricken,
with pain and hurtful words.
And everyone just wishes,
they could fly away with the birds.
~
She feels so bad for hurting them,
and now she finally sees.
That true love isn’t blind at all,
and flows within the breeze.
~
Now every night before,
she’s settled in her bed.
She thinks of the huge mess she’s made,
and lays her guilt stricken head.

I like this. Keep up the good work.
