Some say that love is blind,

and if that’s really true.

Then take away my sight,

so I can keep on loving you.

Some say love is like a dagger,

inflicting hurt and pain on your heart.

So insert the dagger to the core,

whenever we’re apart.

Some say love is like a poison,

it will kill you day by day.

But I will still keep on loving you,

no matter what they say.

~

Some say love is a gamble,

so throw your heart in on the bet.

You’ll never win is what they say,

so why people fall in love is something I don’t get.
