To my Valentine,

the one I do adore.

Whom I love with all my heart,

and will forever more.

~

Today I opened my eyes,

to see just how much you mean to me.

And tears poured from my eyes,

because of what I seen.

~

I saw that in a single day,

you could lose the one you love.

And talking to you on the phone,

sometimes just isn’t enough.

~

I want to feel your skin to mine,

feel your gentle touch.

Kiss you tenderly,

and just love you oh so much.

~

A touch can mean so much,

at times there’s no need to speak,

to tell someone you love them,

like with a kiss upon the cheek.

~

A tender touch in the night,

to let that special someone know,

that you are thinking of them,

and will never let them go.

~

I dream of us together,

me wrapped in your arms tight.

Holding me so close to you,

morning, noon, and night.

~

I’m so glad we’re together.

You are my true soul mate.

And what brought us two together,

I think would have to be fate.

~

I know I may be young,

but I know just how I feel.

And I’m old enough to know,

that what I feel is real.

~

I want us to build a life together,

and start a family.

I see that in our future, at times,

But tell me, is that what you see?

~

Sometimes late at night,

I wake up and just cry.

The problem I can’t find,

and have no clue or reason why.

~

Maybe it’s all because,

I miss you oh so much.

Dreaming of a warm embrace,

and wishing we could touch.

~

You complete my life,

and mean so much to me.

And quite honestly I say,

without you, I don’t know where I’d be.

~

I could write a thousand love songs,

but they can never really say,

how much I truly love you,

and it grows deeper day by day.

~

Each word you softly whisper,

travels strait to my heart.

It makes me ache inside,

knowing we’re thousands of miles apart.

~

I only wish to hold you,

for you to be with me.

But for now, because of distance,

that’s something that can’t be.

~

Someday we’ll be together.

Thinking of this makes me smile,

feeling our love grow deeper,

through every inch and every mile.

~

I laugh as I think about us,

dancing in the rain.

While others sat and watched us,

thinking we were insane.

~

But I wouldn’t even notice them,

all I would see is you.

This Angel spread her gossamer wings,

and into your arms in which she flew.

~

All these things and more,

are the thoughts that fill my mind.

Love, life, and happiness,

are a few words that you’ll find.

~

Because all of this you see,

my dearest Valentine,

is all because of you,

and I’m so glad you’re mine.

~

Sometimes I swear you’re with me,

when I’m having a bad day.

It’s like I can feel your gentle touch,

even though you’re miles away.

~

So much can happen,

in just a single day.

You’ve realized this too,

you understand just what I say.

~

We think the same thoughts,

dream the same dreams.

And only wish to hold each other,

within the midnight breeze.

~

I can’t quite explain,

all the love I truly feel.

But I can guarantee,

that what I feel is real.

~

All I can say,

is that I love you very much.

My heart aches for you,

the very heart in which you’ve touched.

~

You have so much strength,

in which I do admire.

Because of my past experiences,

my strength it did expire.

~

But you and only you,

have helped build me up.

And filled every single ounce,

of the loving cup.

~

You give me the strength I need,

to make it through the day.

Waiting to hear your voice,

and every word you say.

~

I can’t help but smile,

when I think of the love we share.

Daydreaming of so much,

and wishing I was there.

~

I’d hold you close to me,

and kiss you softly sweet.

Drifting into dreamscapes,

of when we finally meet.

~

Love is such a powerful thing,

it can help someone hang on.

Expressed in many ways,

like a poem or a song.

~

But words can only say,

so much of what I feel.

Feelings never felt before,

but feelings so surreal.

~

You’ve mended a broken heart,

and with it mended my soul.

Cause at times I felt that I should die,

and to everyone else my story was untold.

~

But you knew how I was feeling,

cause you had been there too.

You knew the right things to say,

and knew just what to do.

~

You’re the one I want,

for life, my Valentine.

Cause just thinking about our life together,

it all seems so benign.

~

For now we’re far apart,

but I know I’ll see you someday.

This poem’s almost over,

but I have one more thing to say.

~

I’ll love you all my life,

from the bottom of my heart.

And will no matter what,

or how long we’re apart.
