There is no doubt in my mind,

that you're out there somewhere,

but where it is,

I cannot find.

You left me here,

to ponder on your love,

to weep in my silence,

for that's all that's on my mind.

Time goes by, so slowly,

minute by minute,

hour by hour,

day by day.

The sun rises, and sets,

as does the moon.

Though not visible,

through these clouds of gray.

~

The stars that shine above,

have begun to fade away.

Loosing their life and sparkle,

like the smile on my face.

I paint it on day by day.

So you cannot see my hurt,

and so you cannot feel my pain,

that you caused when you left this place.

~

This place where I first met you,

was sunny bright, and full of hope.

And as long as I was happy,

it seemed like you were too.

Now you're gone.

It's dark and dreary.

And all I can do,

is sit here and miss you.
