The Outer Limits of Graffiti

Visioning with the bass
an emotion of depth
The unexpected pulse race
and insanely invigorating
temperature
that hears without feeling
and knows no restrictions or boundaries
Swimming through the tension
while searching for response
without potential complication.
So where does being afraid of complexity
and an addiction to the heat,
produced by conundrum lead you?
To a place you've never been to
but are more than willing to venture.
Like an unopened book, begging to be explored.
Test those limits,
and lean on that gate
stare over into the unknown
uncertainty.
Stating your case
will forfeit the alluring mystery
with chills of an imagined embrace.
Overheating and overstimulated
I move slower now
more cautious.
more anxious and apprehensive.
Strange confusion keeps my mouth shut
and my eyes wide open,
my entity quivering with fear
and my body trembling
I endure the wait
and ponder the possibilities
Thinking of him
when I touch my lips,
and curiously questioning
what his might feel like.
I shy away from the idea
as into view possible dismissal creeps
and ugliness is felt
in the presence of such
beauty
Something so alluring,
drawing me to the flame
I try carefully not to burn my hand
by reaching too soon,
clumsily putting it out
causing darkness once the ember gives up.
It's inevitable, the outcome
is always leaving one for the other,
assuming you hold all the answers
and can make the right decisions.
Imitation isn't real.
It's just a substitute for a past
you just can't seem to shake or let go of
All in all, it becomes a maze
that you can't seem to find you're way out
without running into walls
or stopping to ask for directions
