"Come to me", I once called

In the darkness of the nightWAnting you still for feel of the thrill

Somehow things just seemed right

Love is what I was seeking

As I walked this beach alone

My soul was empty and my hand was cold

Everything about heartbreak I had been told

And warned about

I tried to forget

And put all my trust in you

All of my thoughts in your mind

But sooon enough I would find

You abandoned me like the rest.

Many a night,I have smeared my makeup

Crying tears of insanity

Tears of lonliness and regret

For the one I truly loved

The one I put above

All the others who didn't care

Now I can only walk this beach alone

Praying I'll find another

And thanking God for what you have taught me.
