You let it be let it rise you up let it consume you
let it biuld you up and tear you down you clung to it
in the time of need and it tore you off of it you saw it do
it over and over but you wouldnt comprehend what
it was doing to you but now you do now that your alone
and cold and consumed with hopelessness trying to fight
the tears as you try to make it in this world I tried to help
you but now I cant you done this to yourself you saw it do
what it did to you now you dont believe in love because
you clung to hate and hate turned to a darkness inside
you I warned you what hate could do
