Charmed Eagle
Karyn Indursky
Shall I compare poetry to word wings
flying across thy page like bald eagles?
Thou muse flaps its wings bravely and boldly
as precise eyes share imagery with you
painting artistic emotions holding
your hand texturing diction hues.
Thou horizons spread like hand sown cloud quilts
showing shades of expression liberating
for the fields of inspiration on stilts
giving you views for deliberating.
Thy creativity paves ways to skies
opening like a present before you
cherished dearly as a charm bracelet lies
clamped on your wrist stamped with navy ink blue.
Well written and very good
Well written and very good to read, your poem keeps the readers interest throughtout the sonnet.
