poetry shall wrap me up in a hug

for thou chosen words are a sweet embrace

molding the shapes of my ideas bugging

to be shared upon parchment paper chases

of how fast my brain will lead my fingers

to mold thou imagination spreading

thought juices writing images lingering

word paint showing thou emotions threading

through pools of transistions flowing like ink

across my page drawing your dreams come true

in sugar sweet flight from thou fairy pink

sprinkling the magic of poetry blue

so long as thou precious pen holds its ink

thou poetry shall always make you think
