Anonymous
Supposedly every poem deserves a name
for the poem was given life
by imagery, emotions, communication,
but whatever happened to anonymously?
Shall I always post my name
and take credit for every poem
that flows from my fingers
to display my essence to your eyes?
Or maybe I should be a mystery
where you put pieces of a puzzle together
trying to muster up the reason
why every poem must be titled?
What makes a poem name
have meaning and make it more fluent
when it could be freed of
titles, labels, stereotypes, expectations?
Title it.
Don't touch it.
Controversy...
I read this many times. I
I read this many times. I found it inviting, unique, wonderfully daring, and a little weird, because when words are written on paper or spoken from lips I would say they have been freed and have no need to be freed again. If there is any freeing to do after that i would think it would be the writer or the reader who needs it...?
As far as pseudonyms go, there are too many reasons to count why people use them....and nowadays, it seems there are so many ghostwriters...(a dime a dozen), I find it refreshing to see someone with the balls enough to speak their mind openly in a time when authenticity is so rare, and freedom of speech at such a risk of being lost.

Also, if you are thinking to using your writing as a main source of income, and think up a "catchy" pseudonym these days, you may want to think twice about using a pseudonym at all, considering the possibilities of drama that surround pseudonyms. We still don't know who the real Slim Shady is. ;-)
happy writing, "ms. indursky" ;-)
They should change the spelling maybe to p'sue'donym.

...and he asked her, "do you write poetry? Because I feel as if I am the ink that flows from your quill."
"No", she replied, "but I have experienced it. "
