Like a mermaid swimming in our oceans
poems flow in ripples of emotions
to enhance thy imaginative lotion
soothing your skin with soft motions
easing your mind until poetry flows
like waterfalls sharing tranquility
as your hand writes most elegantly goes
to whittle a riddle with easiness
for thou poet is willing to listen
to thy muse sending adventures to eyes
as thee imagery makes the words glisten
unraveling finished sonnet surprises
so long as the mermaid swims ocean tides
thy muse will be riveting and abide.
