Easter Express

On Root Barrel Lane Peter Cottontail

went hippity-hop-hop to Mickey Mouse's Fun House

with his Baby Ruth umbrella to take

butterscotch baskets while the sky of melted malt balls

painted the Easter Eggs...

Little Miss Muffet 

screamed, "There's eggs on my tuffet!" 

all over her taffeta dress 

a daddy log legged spider licked at the chocolate beside her 

and she screamed at the bunny for soiling her day! 

Chocolate banana milkshakes

and peanut butter pies

The Peter Cotton tail started to shake

and color the Easter Egg Sky

White Chocolate bunnies hopping all around

"Look Minnie Mouse, Peter is painting the town

Purple, pink, orange, and yellow too!"

There goes Micky mouse with a  bubble gum shoe...

Chasing poor Daisy 'round and 'round the butterscotch baskets

until Little Miss Muffet threw a fit

and stomped her feet to the rhythm of don't-you-dare

ruin my Easter treats beat.

Micky Mouse luckily was close by and caught Minnie in arms

and Minnie gave him a cherry push-pop kiss

and Peter Cottontail watched the show in shock

while Donald Duck swooped in for the save of their prized Baskets.

Goofy stumbled in with his blow pop lollipop flowers

almost knocking out the Cadbury Bunny 

with his big clown feet flopping like trout fish

and Little Miss Muffet's arms flew up in frustration...

But the spider came down close to Ms. Muffet

"Now eat your Easter Goodies and tough it"

Goofy sat down  next to the Cadbury bunny

said, "I like to tell you something really funny...

I hid all the Easter eggs out side in the dark

But didn't realize I was at the City Park

So all the children came and ate them all!!!"

Now hop-along bunny as was his name 

hopped on to the scene with a rage

where are my eggs? He demanded to know

feeling goofy, but his bumps were all show

padding down Minnie, she got quite a shock 

she didn't expect hiss hands down her frock! 

Mickey got mad and jumped over the table 

slapping him hard with a frying pan and said in his squeak 

"I'll give you an Easter fable! Don't touch my girl!",

and he chased him under the table but Easter 

as he was called had a rage of his own 

and now it had seriously grown! 

Donald and daffy were stunned what came next

he melted to a puddle of dark chocolate mess! 

Now daisy also found herself in distress 

then she had an idea better than the rest

She grabbed some foil and shaped it her best 

and shaped a bunny and put Easter to rest

she took him home and put him to chill 

Painted him in gold and blue 

now chocolate eggs were no longer alone because

hop along Easter bunny  became an added Easter treat

Goofy looked at cotton tail and nudging 

with fudging exclaimed, "Lucky it ain't you!"
