She's forced to abort
the baby she craves
more than life itself
because her beloved husband
refuses to a responsible
father and dad when
he'd rather be selfish
to continue his career
plans along with everything
else that revolves solely
around him and he's
leaving her to raise
an unwanted child
if she doesn't oblige
and another woman gets
forced into abortion.
oh how sad... I never thought
oh how sad... I never thought about it like this but I guess it does happen a lot!
...and he asked her, "do you write poetry? Because I feel as if I am the ink that flows from your quill."
"No", she replied, "but I have experienced it. "
night...
night...this an older poem of mine and i've never personally had an abortion, but i have talked to and know women who have.
