Kit hunched over her desk. 
A sigh slid out of her lips. 
Quickly, she completed her homework. 
The phone rang breaking her silence. 
Kit answered the phone like she would any other time. 
Disturbed, she furiously slammed the phone down. 
Frantically, she gathered all of her belongings. 
Packing was like breathing to her. 
Nervously, Kit moved an hour away. 
Standing there was her ex-boyfriend in solid black. 
She gasped in fear. 
Hands went around her throat like predators pouncing their prey. 
Kit fell on the floor like glass breaking on cement. 
She flew towards the shining light. 
She watched her surroundings. 
Dead, Kit had reached new heights.
