with high heads, squared shoulders, synchronized feet
while carrying guns to protect our lands
from terrorists on missions to claim what
we've fought for and earned since the beginning of time
in this enterprise of life
where the more powerful you are, the more you own
in its symbolism of your worthiness
of being a proud citizen competent enough
to stand up for your rights
as well as your fellow man
in this great nation
