Look through my eyes
Without corrective lenses.
Struggle to see
What/who awaits.

Listen closely.
Hear what’s said
About you,
Not merely shown.

Feel various textures
For as it darkens
You’re now blind.
Scared? Lonely? Plagued?

Taste cautiously.
Appearances are limited.
You’re not judging presentation.
Bitter? Sweet? Tart? Ripe?

Smell your surroundings.
Realize who has
What fragrance.
Trust yourself.

When you walk
My journey
Tell me how you feel
And who truly matters.
