Suffering a terrible disease

2008 poems This sweet, sweet, ol woman suffered such a terrible disease,
and in the process of having this disease,
She had lost both of Her legs and an arm for the ride of pain.
I don't understand
why a disease so deadly,
could be so painful on such a beautiful soul.
When She had died
from this disease of diabetes,
She also died
of a stroke caused
by the painful disease in the year of 1999.
She was only the age of 66.
