Smiles Don't Cost a Thing

What shall I do today, my friend

To tell you how I love you?

I saw some flowers in the corner shop

The sweet red roses reminded me of you...

And there's some chocolates that I know you love

And towels softer than clouds, that I could have delivered

Within the week

It's white gold you like, isn't it?

You that silver irritates the skin

Maybe because its not precious enough

I'd shower you with diamonds, if I knew that I could

And I'd give you whatever you ask, you know

That I would

And though your words, your hugs and smiles

Don't cost a thing...

Its all I ask from you xxx
