I Am A Burden

No-one cares about me.

Or what I have to say.

They'd rather have the Earth blown up

Than have me save the day.

'Here lies the body of Terri T,

Someone you've never seen before,

She wanted her ashes to be scattered,

But we thought he decision a bore'

No-one will ever read those words,

I am a burden, that is me,

No-one will mourn me when I'm gone

My grave no one will see.

Author's Notes/Comments:

I'm hoping this isn't a true story.

Wow! What a great poem, even if you did use four lines out of a book! (-They work really well!)
