Eyes Never Lie
No matter what a person says
And no matter how hard they try
You can always see the truth in them
Because their eyes never lie
Someone can seem so perfect and innocent
Yet they continue to suck you in
With the same tired lies they tell you
Over and over again
It always seems to hurt the most
When someone that you love lies
But constantly you put your trust in them
Because you ignore their eyes
Sooner or later the truth will be told
And everybody will see
That it wasn't your conscience giving in
It was your eyes telling me
I couldn't agree more. I'm being lied to right now and I hate it.
