Enigma

Journey with me
Into my mind that seems hopelessly
People judge me by my outside colors
But never see the neon light inside my colors
They tryied to figure me out
But truthfully I'm the one whos trying to figure myself out
How I am?
What I am?
I'm like a rubix cube
Trying to match every side color on the cube
You don't know me
Or you can't understand me
My emotion are those of a candle
Burning full of rage but hard to handle
People say your full of unaware stigma
But truthfully I feel like im an enigma

I really enjoyed this poem.

I really enjoyed this poem. For me, it wreaks of sensitivity, and the need to stand atop the fulcrum of life with both one's inner and outer worlds within clear view in order to choose what is best for us to complete our unique task and life plan, chosen wisely before our very birth....the place I reach for in this huge 'theatre of life'. Finding out 'who' I am, to me, is not as important as knowing why I am here. I think if people follow their heart, it inevitably leads them to that. With all of the distractions in life along the way, it can be something many never find, but once you arrive, you know that who you are is really of little importance in the larger picture.

...was trying to think of a word that rhymed with 'color' so you wouldn't have had to use it redundantly...then I read someone's work who I was admiring and saw a comment that was making the point about rhyming and how it really isn't important if the words rhyme or not, but how they all come together to support the main topic of interest.

This poem inspired me. Thanks for sharing. I hope you keep writing. Peace.

...and he asked her, "do you write poetry? Because I feel as if I am the ink that flows from your quill."

"No", she replied, "but I have experienced it. "

Tryin' To Figure It All Out

Self examination is a part of growth - decide and be that a while, then change and be that a while until the suit of possibilities and bad choices is stitched perfectly into you - I liked this writing ~~A~~
