"Shark Girl"

Family tree of three

Daddy came & left

Mommy pushed & shed

Daughter saw & begged

(Shark girl)

Love all around

Living small

Hard making money in a town

One bed, one stove

Pocket really thin

Emotions hitting left to right

(batter up)

Strike,boom

Daddy where you at?

she pleads

she thinks

everytime she blinks

her mind links to the past time

(Shark girl)

Wrinkled cheeks patterend to a smile

Her eyes deceive the worst

She feels a family curse

She wants to cry and burst

but she crys and sleeps first...

Sixteen but a mind of nineteen

Lovely star struck

hooked on Mr. lonely

her heart is still roaming

humbelness is showing

Her eyes begin glowing

She cuts the green grass

An only child

all while, not so wild, pretty short

couldn't sort, couldn't port

Her uniqueness is worth more than a cureing diagnoss quart..
