This and That.

That they say, that they do,

That they say, they say is true.

That they say, they say is right,

That they say, is black and white.



That they do, they do again,

And will probably do to the very end.

And it don't matter matter if it's right,

They'll do it all day and all bloody night.



And don't ask me if it's true or false,

As I am part of this eternal waltz,

That makes black white and white black,

And that they do and that is that.



But perchance that you do not,

Wish for more than you have got,

And can be seated quiet and still,

Then blessed you be from this old dill.
