My tears sting my dry eyes
I wonder where it all went wrong
When it felt so right
Being in your arms that very night
My world stood still
Your lips pressed upon mine
That very moment was divine
But then the moment was gone
The touch the sensation
My world no longer complacent
Where were you when I screamed ur name
I was there but it wasn?t the same
I gave so much of myself and am left bare
Left alone without a hand a heart or a care

I wanted to share the joy the laughter and the pain
You changed still I wanted u there all the same
To be intoxicated with your laugh
To be seduced with your smile
I wanted you there if only for a little while
To feel whole as I once had
