I'm wide awake

Though I should be tired

I'm dreaming but 

I'm having a nightmare

Or is it just my life?

There's pain inside, but 

I feel no different on the outside.

I wish I could find someone to feel this with me.

Someone to understand me.

I'm wide awake 

But dreaming all the same

Dreaming someone would save me.

But no one ever will.
