Death (Why?)

A New Era Why does death have to be
the ending of life?
Why can't we just live forever young?
Death just causes too much pain
for the one's that has to live with that loss.
Why does some die young,
while others get to live a long life
before death steals them away?
How's that really fair?
One life has just as much a right to live
as the next one... Right?
Death... Why is it the answer?
Why does it have to be the ending?
I guess all we can really hope
is that God knows something is gonna happen
that, that person can't handle...
And so he's saving them and
taking them to a better place...
A better home than this world.
Sometimes we need to delude
Sometimes we need to delude ourselves with faith when common sense tells us that there is no divine reason for death. We hope there is something better for the dead in an afterlife, when we know that there is none.
