One Wish

2003 Poetry If you had but one wish,
what would it be?
Riches, Fame, Power,
or possibly Celebrity?
I have no doubt for,
what it would be.
Without this the others,
are useless you see.
They aren't any good,
if you're buried in a box.
Wish for health and long life,
if you're smart like a fox.
So true. it's like those questions people ask you...if you had three wishes, what would you wish for? nearly ten out of ten people say "money, power, fame." none of them ever say "health, happiness and peace." it's so sad.
