I played a lovely round of golf today,

hitting that little white ball straight and long.

All the greens seemed to be as hard as clay,

causing all my putts turning out too strong.



Half way through I ran out of energy,

a second wind regained my synergy.



The wind in my face made me feel alive,

I enjoyed nature and the lush green view.

Loving this game that I will not deprive,

so I let a few people behind play through.
