Spreading Flowers

May brings forth flowers

after the April rains.

Bursting through crusted earth

reaching up to grasp the sun

as gentle winds caress their folds.

Yielding soft petals

delicate to a finger’s touch,

with the velvet moistness

of an angel’s breath

and the ability

to spread its seed.

Nature taking care

of its own as we look on

viewing the masterpiece

we call life.

this is outstanding I really loved it. I like lilies ,morning glories and orchids. Carried Catalay orchids of fuscchia color years ago in my wedding. Very pretty presentation. So nice especially since it's been misty rain all day here..
