A broken heart, torn in two and splintered

My heart it broke first, when i left you.

The last time I looked in your eyes,

I lovers loss was what I saw,

matched in my own.



My heart it tor second, when the plane took off,

it took me away from my true love,

away from you it bore me,

away from my hearts true home.



What little of my heart was left, splintered,

when i heard she'd got her claws on you,

and tried to take you away,

further away from me.



I can feel safe in the knowledge,

that you are mine,

though i am not by your side,

I know you still love me.



The only way to mend my heart,

Is to leave this life,

the life i did not want,

and return to your side.

I know you can do it. I know you can wait. I will come home to you, and I'll stay forever.
