Morning Sunshine, Stars Shining Bright
Rays burn their way through
Clouds that are placed in my path
An opening to which
Reveals things of my past
That at one time were there
But so fast had left me without
But that all changed
When the morning sun came out
However, by this sun, the light faded fast
Giving way to hidden stars beyond gloomy overcast
The sun was what it was so very long ago
But it's seemed to have gone like many things I know
Now, in it's place, a star stands strong
Casting a glow that I'm glad finally came along
To be here with me in a time when I needed my sight
When life spiraled downward and nothing seemed right
To know God placed this star in my life as a light
The sun has unfortunately faded
But this star is shing bright
