My feelings show

And if not, they should

I let them out every time

I'm around you



But what's expressed

On the outside

Does go a lot deeper

When seen from the inside



Feelings are a lot

Stronger than normal

Nothing sexual

It's all in my heart

Everything else pushed

To the side, overlooked



My heart aches

For I can only express half

Of what I feel...

The rest kept on the inside



So maybe one day

I won't scare you away

With these feelings

That are blanketed by friendship
