Abbreviated screeds from the neediest of souls
No one knows her tone or sees her eyes roll
Sitting in the cineplex waiting for the next text
Yet when she can't connect it's then she's truly vexed
She bathed in warm euphoria til it gave way to autumn
Fast forgotten, raw and rotten and almost touching bottom
Downcast grasping at that late summer rapture
Carefree captions on the images captured
A murmur from the darkness of her silver sequined purse
Concentrated contemplations tremble and disperse
Pleads with him to take in a film desperate to persuade
While he crams for his exams to maintain his grade
"Come poke me in provocative spots to blot out aching hurts
Press your digits digging down to arouse in luscious spurts
So tightly wound til you surround me breaching my bounds
Bliss abounds as you literally lift me off the ground
I'll find you in the library reciting lengthly lists
Spot your chair and venture near and clasp your wrists
Allow me to guide as we stride through nighttime traffic
Let your eyes be mesmerized by neon graphics
Burdens shall bear down again after tonight
The wearisome worries I've worn shall wake with the light
But delve into these delights while bright respite reigns
Until I'm drawn to fear the dawn and promises of pain"

Don't let any one shake your dream stars from your eyes, lest your soul Come away with them! -SS
