Her arms are inviting yet I step back and shrug
Weary of inciting an innapropriate hug
Resembling affection thus far too reckless
Focus instead on the stones in her necklace
My stomach may ache yet I won't partake in her delights
Though they arouse the most suppressed of appetites
Snug in her hugs so much like drugs and sweetly released
'Til my clothing is creased by this welcoming feast
To feel so important and such a priority
Souls such as hers are but a minority
For when my words are most bitterly toxic
She calms with compassion quite paradoxic
I ponder the bonds of fondness she's built
And quietly tucked in the warmth of a quilt
Some may fail to fathom the tears she's shed for them
Extending hopeful friendship while refusing to condemn
With peaceful demeanor amd proper poise
Keenly discerning my words through the noise
No sooner has misery dripped from my lips
Than her flesh refreshes and such thoughts are eclipsed
As crimson ribbons turn to maps to God's gaseous lamps
And she bends to kiss my crown and leaves a gentle stamp
Despite tumultuous times and early morning chimes
Like peppermint purchased with nickels and dimes
I've never heard anyone rhyme
I've never heard anyone rhyme so wickedly!!!
