My stomach is empty, but my mind is full.
My heart is heavy, my emotions are dull.
The room is silent, but my thoughts are loud.

I cannot tell you how i feel, when your away.
I am empty inside and out, because I'm not okay.
I have tears locked away, deep in my eyes.
Even if you were not away, you wouldn't hear my cries.

I am upset and grieving, I am worrisome and anxious.
My smile is gone, only you can bring it back, but even if you were there.....
both of you wouldn't stay for long.

And so still my stomach is empty, but my mind is full.
My heart remains heavy and my emotions are everywhere and dull.
But nonetheless, though the room is silent, my thoughts remain loud.
