FUTILE ATTEMPT!

FUTILE ATTEMPT!

Quarantined in shelters and leading an unmindful life,

The white ants suddenly take off and shoot for the moon!

Flying in vain just after rain, they head towards an unknown destiny;

Alas!  Their efforts frizzle out; yet they carry on their hopeful try.

They descend down unwillingly and drop down to earth;

Never they know their ambition to take up to skies is nipped in bud;

Their wings wither off and they seem to crawl all over;

Nevertheless, the greedy birds pick them up to have their stomach full.

Oh, Man!  Over ambitious people might ask you to aim higher!

Take it as farce and learn to crawl before you run!

The green pastures around you might tempt you to fall;

But, be aware of your limits and make efforts till you stand tall!

Author's Notes/Comments:

Do as per your limitations.  Don't follow others blindly to pressurise yourself unnecessarily.
