FARCE
Confined to their dwellings underneath and enjoying a carefree life;
The white ants take off from their shelters to scale new heights;
They fly so high, just after rain, heading for an unknown destiny;
Alas! Their efforts frizzle out; still they struggle to keep themselves afloat.
They descend down shakily; and unwilling togive up, prefer to crawl on ground;
Their ambition of taking up to skies, in no time, is nipped in bud ; nevertheless
The greedy birds which lie in wait pick them up to quench their appetite.
Their wasted effort and life, make them realize they have gone beyond limit.
Oh, Man, overambitious people might ask you to shoot for the moon!
Take it as farce and learn to look around before you proceed;
The green pastures around you might tempt you to stumble;
But, know your limits and make effort till you stand tall and steady.
