THOUSAND AND ONE REASONS!
Thoughts just creep in; stimulate nerves, body and soul;
Uncontrollable emotions and let out feelings, run deeper inside;
They crack up the mind and unnerve the body with expressions outstretched!
But, make it difficult to vent out the feelings that are hard to contain.
Broken promises and let-downs are advocated to be accepted;
Late comings and exchange of words are reasons that are good enough;
Betrayal and deception are taken as part and parcel of life; and
Character assassination and rejections are accepted without minding the loss!
Depression overcomes and all good feelings give way;
The verbal and physical assaults are just double-edged swords!
They cut open the heart from within and go deeper inside;
Oh! Your weapon is something special that kills others, without extracting blood!
You would quote thousand and one reasons to accept your bloodless coup!
Even people would accept them as they’ve come from someone like you, who is specially trained to put out souls!
No doubt, your kingdom will flourish and become larger; and you will reign supreme;
But, by the time, you would have none to exercise your power on, as an emperor!
You would be in shame as everyone would desert you!
You would be an undisputed emperor; but without any law abiding subjects!
Even if you searched for one; you would find none!
As I would have gone further away from you, quoting no reasons, by then!
