NOTHING’S PERMANENT
The world keeps spinning and my mind goes reeling;
Nothing remains stable, as nature warrants change!
The wheel of my life-cycle, reminds me of my hassles;
And triggers off such awful feelings, to make it cumbersome.
Nothing’s permanent; and everything is ephemeral;
When happiness and sorrows share us at will.
Man! Watch out when ecstasy befalls!
It might fall any time by now; beware of your fall, when it befalls!
As happiness and sadness come your way
Excitement and depression take their toll;
Watch out! As you might be lost,
‘Coz you are just a mortal!
