‘Man’ they call me!

‘Man’ they call me!

‘Man’ they call me I say;

But I’m a bundle of nerves I say;

Feelings of joy I feel when praised

Feelings of pain I feel when poked

Is it for what they call me man?

Things that bring, happiness are few

Things that bring, sadness are many

Many a time; I just can’t but bear

Is it for what they call me man?

Like a pendulum my life is swung

Swung to reach both extreme ends;

Reaches the peak and reaches the foot

Is it for what they call me man?

Somebody gambles and I am just caught;

Is He they call the God of all!

Is this the world, the place he finds?

To play his game with all we men

Is it for what we call Him 'God'?
