CHRISTMAS GIFT

She just wrote a tear she dropped;

In my heart, she just dropped;

I just got the tear she dropped

To make me wonder why she dropped?

 ‘A Christmas Gift’ it was, she meant

To give me for the days we spent!

I just laughed the way she wrote

For I meant, nothing but joke;

But she wept the way I took

For she meant, I just poked.
