Divine Light
Your divine light unveils your graciousness,
Oh, God! Your holiness makes me so pristine
I’d like to commune with you eternally,
When I depart this transient world.
Gone were the days, I knew you not
Gone were the time, I went astray
Gone were the people, with who I sinned
Oh, God! You’re now so dearer and nearer to me.
How could I ever forget your eternity Oh, Lord?
You are so merciful and compassionate Oh, Almighty!
So forgiving and tolerant you are, Oh, Father!
For you’ve brought me out from the depth of sin.
My days are numbered; no doubt I know:
My sins are forgiven; coz’ I am cleansed:
My grievances are none, when you’re with me
As you lead me Home, I sulk no more!
The Hallow around you opens my eyes
I seek no more the worldly pleasures
I wanna be with you; my God
And be with you, holding your loving hands.
