Smoke

Smoke

You, a seamless enemy

Swirling in dark corners

Waiting for your moment to spark

Unveiling a destructive power of smoke

Fiercely deceiving in silent innocence

Condemning life dreams into smoldering cold ash

Them, tortured souls of kingdoms

Rawly fight for their stance

No winners, all losers; a babe no more

Travelling scents of rotting blood

Sounds of firecrackering echoing in the air

Smoke filled tears, burning lungs; a limb lost

Me, a leader to my followers

Hipnotic influencer of herbal bliss

A drag of smoke, killer of pain

Gone, headache of career

Gone, heartache of family

Gone, just gone

Awesome job

What an amazing read. It hits close to home because I've read about the hazards of smoking growing up, but at the same time, it's a way to relieve stress from life's troubles. Keep up your eloquent style. I'd love to see more poetry from you. :)
