I found my friend;he was where he had always been.
I found my friend down deep inside.
It took some time for him to abide within.

The day I realized I had always had a friend
Was the day my journey with him would begin.
He had led me through the wilderness dark and deep.

He took my limbs and gave them pain.
Then he showed me I had his love to gain.
In all my weakness,he gave me strength.

He gave me courage when I wished to give in.
He gave me wisdom,showed me how to win.
He showed me them I would always have a friend.

He took my hand and led me through,
Then said to me my love will always be there for you.
If you trust in me, I will always be the friend you need.

I got down on my knees with great pain around.
I asked for forgiveness as I knelt on the ground.
Jesus, if you give me your hand and guide me too

I wii give all I have back then to you.
On my own,I don't know what to do.
I found my friend in Jesus to guide me through.
