Wearing the sun like linen
and rain like galaxies
that fell from a fairy’s sky
it simply lives
and inspires minds to see
the world a little differently.
Sprinting through hours
my heart is clawed by the world
and I wonder if life is just
something that feeds the
weak to the strong
while somewhere out there,
forgotten,
grows a heaven-clad flower:
no mind
no hands
no fear
just faith
and a language some call silence.
In silence I carve a path
through forever
and become the lily.

Oh, my goodness! You really must read "Orange Daylilies". We are sisters under the skin. I love this poem and can relate to it fully.
God is always here--even in the silence.
