Beyond Any Dream I Could Imagine


Is it only a dream
when I feel your ache,
to hunger for the thirst of your lips
wanting you to feel what I feel,
laying you down in a bed of southern rain
showing you love so tender, 
driving to a crescendo of thunder?  


I take you with me every night
when I find my way to sleep,
your touch is my greatest ecstasy.
Is it only a dream
when I tremble beneath starscaped nights
holding you as our bodies surge as one? 


You leave trails of kisses along my burning flesh
I'm riveted as your eyes never leave mine.
Is it only a dream
when I see you, and feel you, as I do,
when I hear you softly whisper
"I Love You"?


Our bodies glisten from passion's sweet surrender
sheets damp from pleasures shared,
was it only a dream
as I reach over to cradle your wings?
Never a dream
because you're always with me
in my heart
and in my soul
Where we breathe in forever showers
and bathe in an ocean of Us
