DISGRUNTLED

Folder:
2003 Poetry

science has tarnished the sanctuaries of the earth

bringing narcissistic and condescending smirk

no fear, no regard--it sways its will beyond recourse,

and fetches its bidding without any remorse

shady minds find it favorable and irresistible

as each day discovered is a day to fulfill and conquer

repercussions are all in the silo, staring back in total disillusion

specimens for mighty discovery are plethora

from cat to dog, from monkey to human corpse

ah! yes the human body, molded in the likes of God

only to be tailored and desecrated in a snap

greed is the grain in the glass hour nearing nil

one day man will find himself trapped in his own will

and his conscience will become his own adversary

and it would be too late for him to bid his sorry

his own deeds would make him crawling,

‘til the last breath of life evaporates totally

Fortunately God will not let this kind
of wastage and desicration continue for too long.
