DISAPPEARING ACT

Folder:
2003 Poetry

we had good times

had savored moments

moments, which were

describable as heaven

i

thought i have you

with all the angels

humming perfect endearment

playing our sentinel

guarading us

we

were close to perfection

then

i

woke up to see

you're gone

all at once i moved

to being a derelict

what didn’t i do?

i gave you everything

you left me with nothing

i gave you heaven

you gave me nightmares

i gave you confidence

you gave me embarrassment

like a filthy used rag you

tossed me into the mud

maybe i don't serve your

purpose anymore

or maybe the purpose

i served to you is hallow

or maybe...

...ohh well i don't know

I like this one. The fourth passage is really something.
