my shut eyes peep high-ceilinged images
of beauty and folly from accrued real-life
drama to plain fabrication of my wild and
vivid delirium
my hands let slip these fleeting forms
by assembling letters in the English alphabet
to evince astounding and remarkable tales of
life—possibly meaningful or gibberish
conventional or radical, affliction or pleasantry
witty or dreary, accepted or not
i am not a poet nor wanting to be known as that
i am simply letting loose monsters and angels off
my mind struggling to be laughed at and denigrated
by those unconcealed charlatans in poetry
if in my folder you see any similitude with your work
that simply signifies that the world is round and that
culture doesn't absolutley vary from one another, that
just like in Love, occurences and definitions are sporadic
and disparities depend on interpretations
Do see me as a mind effecting my freedom of expression
through the use of pen and paper sans limitations
and sometimes i letter terms accidental to proclivity
If you are not ashame or afraid of being called
"woman" then you should not be afraid of being
called "poet" or "poetess".
The word poet comes from a greek word which originally
meant "maker". And you dear Lady are a maker of songs
which I imagine find their origin in everyday Pinay
life of living and loving. Therefore you are not only
a poetess but a poetess of significance as you bring a
certain awareness to the world with your poetry.
