You know that

nothing ever lasts forever

and good things always

come to an end way too fast

you gotta live your life for the moment

you know that it just ain't gonna last



It's easy to take things for granted

once you have them

and you think things are set

but when you start to

take things for granted

you end up with lots of regrets



It's hard not to

look back at things

It's hard not to

think about the future

but you've gotta live your life

while it lasts



Don't look at your life

through rose-colored glasses

that way's too easy to get hurt

you've gotta take life for what it is

takes lotsa cleaning when you're hit with the dirt
